Ducktown Neighborhood CDC Façade Improvement Grant Program

Anyone interested in applying may download and submit our form online. You may also visit the Ducktown office located within the Noyes Arts Garage at 2200 Fairmount Avenue, Atlantic City NJ 08401 to receive a physical copy of the form to submit to us in person.

Additionally, we will need copies of these documents from you in order to process your application:

  • Signed and Dated Grant Application

  • Proof of Ownership

    • Note: The owner can show proof of ownership with a copy ​of the property tax records or a copy of the deed.

    • If the applicant is NOT the owner of the builder, the applicant is required to submit written evidence of the building owner's approval of the application. The owner's approval can be shown in a simple letter.

  • Completed Design Review Request Form and Scope of Work

    • A narrative description or the project scope.​

    • Construction scope of work.

    • Renderings and/or architecture plans. (if available/applicable)

    • Photos of current condition. Please see Texas Main Street Program's How to Photograph a Building for instructions on best methods.

    • Historic photos, illustrations, or architectural plans relevant to the proposal work.

  • Exhibit A

    • Project Budget.​

    • Anticipated Sources and Uses.

The following is applicable to all grants, including:

AC Home Rehab Program, Ducktown Façade Improvements Program, Design Improvement Grant, and AC Down-Payment Assistance.

​Next Steps

  • Once the application is submitted and received, please allow 14 days for review from our team.

​​

  • After reviewing, if there are any missing items or documents from the application, we will reach out.

​​​

  • Once the review is done by our team and the application is complete and accurate, case items will be sent to the Ducktown CDC Board for their vote.

​​​

  • Once voted on, it will then be sent to the Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA) for review. ​​Please allow up to 30 days for review.​​

  • Additionally, a property site visit will be conducted. An appointment with the applicant may need to be scheduled.
